                CERAMICS CLASS

Gina Mars will instruct beginner to advanced students the basics of hand building and surface decoration, create sculpture or functional ceramics and learn the potter’s wheel.

Japanese Raku is the ancient art of rapidly firing your ceramic work in an outside kiln, removing it at 2000 degrees and placing work in a container with combustibles, changing the color of the glaze and sometimes producing a crackle effect.
