Our Annual Scholarship Competition is a great opportunity for students (7th-12th grade) to draw from the model or a still life. Awards will range from $300 to $5000.

Gina Mars will instruct beginner to advanced students the basics of hand building and surface decoration, create sculpture or functional ceramics and learn the potter’s wheel.

Japanese Raku is the ancient art of rapidly firing your ceramic work in an outside kiln, removing it at 2000 degrees and placing work in a container with combustibles, changing the color of the glaze and sometimes producing a crackle effect.
